Mesa Verde National Park

• 8 miles from RiverBend to park entrance. No pets allowed.

• Plan a full day at the park to visit the museum, take the ranger guided tours, hike, drive the rim.
  
  
• Tickets are required for ranger guided tours of Cliff Palace & Balcony House; arrive early for morning tours beginning at 8:30 AM.
  
  
• Pack a picnic lunch or eat at one of the concessionaires. Take lots of water!
  
  
• Wetherill Mesa is a 1 mile self guided hike to see Long House & Step House. Takes approx. 15 minutes to drive to the trail head.
